エッセーのDraft2.0がようやく完了!!

今日もうだるような暑さ。冷房なしで生活するのはきつい。

本当に暑くてビックリするなぁ。おじちゃんやおばあちゃんたちには

すっごいつらそうだから、猛暑も落ち着くといいんだけど。

さて、本日は朝からアメリカにするLanguage Exchange相手と初Skype。

性格、外見もナイスガイだし、やたら良い声しててびっくりした。

どういう風にLEをやっていくか話して、今後の予定を決めたけど、

1時間はあっという間だわ。もっと積極的に話すことにする。

なによりも、朝の貴重な時間を一時間も投資しているんだから、

英語ぺらぺら話せるようにならないと。

Skype後はアメリカで勉強する内容に関する文献や本を借りるために

近くの図書館へ行き、涼む時間に。

こうして午前中は現実逃避をして過ごしてから、奨学金のエッセーを

ほぼ書き直した。7000字。自分でもビックリ。

明日はこれを英語に直して、いらない部分を削って、っていう風にすれば

エッセーのお題3つのうち2つについては完了するぞ。

さすがに明日はGMATとTOEFLにも手をつけなきゃ。

今日嬉しかったこと

• 奨学金のエッセーDraft2.0を書き上げた、ざっと7000字
• 体幹と腕の筋トレ・ランニングを完了
• Language Exchange相手と初のSkype

It was scorching today too. I have to live without an air conditioner and it is totally a torture. I wonder if the heat will really tell on elder people and hope it will get less hot. This morning,  I had a skype with a guy living in U.S and found him a very nice person. We talked about how we would hold the chat going forward and one hour passed so fast that I felt that I must speak much more. Since I will spend a valuable hour in the morning, I learn to speak English as fluently as I can discuss something with the natives. After the call, I went to nearby library to borrow some books related to my study in U.S. Then I went back home and wrote as many as 7000 Japanese words for the essays. I myself got surprised at it. I will translate and edit the Japanese draft 2.0 and guess I will complete an English version of draft 2.0 tomorrow. Also I must solve some GMAT questions and memorize some words for TOEFL.
